Very interesting...100 pages is approx 33 pages a day...that's a bunch...I've done NaMo a couple of times and made the word count, but I've not yet gone back to those stories because I know what a mess they are. The concept doesn't work for me, but I do know tons of people who do great work during it!!
Hi, Tess! I started writing a story last night and I read it this morning. In the description I had the heroine whisking away the hero's ham instead of hand. I laughed out loud and realized that writing is not for sissies. A lot of care and dedication is needed. This article is interesting and does make you excited about getting started. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend, Tess. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh, Marie...that's so typical...I swear there are gremlins that move, remove, and add letters on our computers!! LOL...btw: the best thing that has helped me find typos and such is having the computer read my manuscripts back to me. Most computers have a text-to-speech feature...It's invaluable when you're read to do those final edits! There are also ones you can buy or get for free on the internet!!!
Hi, Tess! I agree that the gremlins do have their fun. Thanks for the valuable tips. Text-to-speech sounds fantastic! Cannt wait for your next novel! .
