My daughter loved her pacifier. But my son hated his...which was both bad and great. Bad because he couldn't be soothed at times, but great because I didn't have to break him of the habit.
After my daughter turned two we made a rule she could only have the pacifier in her room. I can remember going to my mom's to visit and we were staying in the guest bedroom...my daughter would put her feet in the room, with her body in the hallway so she could watch everyone, just so she could get a hit on her pacifier, because technically she was in the room!
